Overlake Service League was founded in 1911 and since that time has provided Emergency and Family Assistance as well as holiday programs to promote stability and independence for those most vulnerable in Bellevue .
Who is eligible?
Anyone living within the geographical boundaries of the Bellevue School District. Clients must agree to a home visit to access services. For those who are homeless, special arrangements can be made.
What can you expect from a home visit?
The Social Service Administrator will visit you at your home to assess your immediate and overall needs. You will be asked to provide supportive documents for your specific requests as well as the following:
- Social Security Card, Green Card, Visitor Visa, etc.
- Rental or Mortgage Agreement
- Verification of Income
The Social Service Administrator will:
- Match needs with Overlake Service League programs and services
- Provide referrals to other resources for assistance
- Advocate on your behalf
- Assist you in planning a course of action
How do I request assistance?
Call Overlake Service League at (425) 451-1175 to be screened for
eligibility and to arrange an appointment. Our Social Service Administrator comes to your home to for the assessment appointment. Office hours are Monday through
Friday from 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM. In the event that no one answers the
phone, leave your name, phone number, and message on the voice mail for the
Social Service Administrator.
