When you think about the community you can't forget the working poor. These individuals struggle everyday with issues most take for granted. Like clothing: the very challenge of having something to wear to go to work. Daycare: imagine a single mom or dad making a low income and having to meet the high costs of placing their children in after-school care or daycare. And, what about transportation? Getting to and from the job, medical appointments and daycare can sometimes be overwhelming to someone struggling to make ends meets.

OSL helps to meet these needs by providing financial support with daycare, clothing vouchers, car repair, gas vouchers and metro passes. Through these services OSL keeps community members linked to employment.
